Hilo Brewing Company is currently hiring for a brewery representative & draft line technician position on the Big Island of Hawaii. This role involves representing our company at various accounts and events, as well as ensuring the proper maintenance and cleanliness of draft lines for our on-premise customers. The ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service skills and present themselves in a professional manner as a representative of Hilo Brewing Co. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain draft beer lines in bars/restaurants using chemicals & equipment we provide.

• This is a physically active job. Applicants must be able to push/pull/lift kegs on a regular basis, which average 50 lbs. and can weigh up to a maximum of 160 lbs., as well as crouch and stand many times a day.

• Must be comfortable using hand tools, working with pressurized equipment, & working in cramped spaces.

• Must be a self-starter & be able to work independently.

• Report to work on assigned days wearing proper dress and in possession of all tools that have been assigned.

• Keep draught cleaning account scheduler up to date in Google Docs. 

• Must be comfortable having your work checked and able to incorporate feedback into future performance.

• Some other duties of the job will include changing out tapping devices & draft troubleshooting,

• Represent Hilo Brewing Co. at events such as tap takeovers, beer festivals, & other industry events. 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

• We are looking for service-driven employees who would like the opportunity to work in the craft beer industry.

• Must be at least 21years old

• Must have own reliable personal vehicle for regular business use.

• Must maintain a good driving record both on and off the job and must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle. 

• Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

• Have excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Have a professional appearance and demeanor.

 

Job Type: Full-time

 

Pay: $18.00 per hour + mileage reimbursement
